Now Where Was I?

Remember last year when my friend, Alyson, talked me into this project?
Well... she did it again!
(Oh YES, she did!)

This time we decided on the book, "Each Peach Pear Plum"
(Alyson was in charge of making 30 peaches, plums and pears, and I was in charge of the characters)
and somehow between Thanksgiving and out of town visitors -- TWICE
I managed to finish them.
Here they all are:
The Three Bears
 Jack and Jill
 Cinderella and Bo Peep
The Wicked Witch and Robin Hood
Mother Hubbard, Tom Thumb and Baby Bunting
 There you have it...
12 of my newest, closest friends
(we've spent A LOT of time together)
that I happily loaded in the car for a quick trip to Concord
so that they could hang on THIS TREE
which is standing in Ralph Waldo Emerson's Study
in the Concord Museum
(I'm SURE he would have approved :)

I'm just so happy to be done with this little project
that I don't know what to do next...
*shop for Christmas
*decorate for Christmas
*sew for Christmas
*clean my house
*read
*sit and stare blankly into space
*re-introduce myself to my family
*SLEEP!

It will be nice to think about something else for a change.
(Hey, why don't you swing by the museum and see them yourself!)

  1. I can't believe you guys did that again! What a lot of work! The dolls are so extremely darling. You are such a talented gal. Wish I could go see it in Concord! I have to admit - I do miss Concord and all the New England charm at Christmas time this year. The desert just doesn't feel quite right for cozy Christmas activities! But, I'll sure be glad I live here on Dec 26th :)
