Intelligent Talk

"It stands to reason..." 

That's the phrase Logan used the other day when trying to figure out a way to eat the fish I had baked for dinner that HE had covered with steak sauce (on fish?) and then decided it wasn't quite as delicious as he had imagined...

L:  "It stands to reason that if I took smaller bites of my fish, I wouldn't notice the taste as much."

Me:  "Did you just say, it stands to reason?"

L:  "Yes"

Me:  "Where have you heard that before?"

L:  "Doesn't everyone say that?"

Hmmm... well, it stands to reason that everyone should -- especially ten year olds!
